Ladies Night Out In Teaneck Raises Money For Women With Cancer
TEANECK, N.J. -- The 3rd Annual Ladies Night Out to raise money for cancer takes place Thursday, June 9.The event is hosted by the Teaneck Chamber of Commerce. Sponsorships and vendor tables are still available. There will be food, vendors, massages, entertainment and fashion trends. Motivational speaker and comedian Patricia Andrews is the guest speaker. Relay For Life Carmelo Gearing Up For Paramus Fundraiser
PARAMUS, N.J. -- Relay for Life Carmelo's Chapter representing Midland School is participating in Relay For Life of Paramus June 10-11.Team Captain is Alba Marrabello. Last year's Team Captain was Kristen Rohdieck, Midland School PTA President, who started the first Midland School Team in honor of Carmelo Marrabello III, a student who died from cancer. TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- A wind-solar machine is harnessing off-the-grid power for Washington Irving School in Tarrytown. In a partnership with the Tarrytown School District, Willdan and Aris Energy Solutions, a wind-solar energy device was constructed at Washington Irving. The off-the-grid lighting and power is already providing lighting for both security and athletic events at WI’s fields.
