Norwood PTO Carnival Offers Fun And Games
NORWOOD, N.J. -- The Norwood PTO is planning a carnival June 2-4 at the Immaculate Conception parish grounds.Wristbands to ride all night will be offered on June 2 for $25.The carnival runs 6-11 p.m. Click here to order advance tickets for rides. Barrels Of Possibly Dangerous Chemicals Found Dumped In Mount Vernon
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Police are keeping 24-hour watch over barrels of chemicals found dumped in Mount Vernon on Thursday, according to News 12 Westchester.The contents of at least one barrel spilled and the Department of Environmental Conservation was called in, according to News 12 Westchester. Car Totaled In I-87 Westchester Crash
ARDSLEY, N.Y. -- A car smashed into a firetruck on Friday while driving on I-87 in Ardsley, according to News 12 Westchester. The firetruck was there blocking traffic to allow ambulances to pass through to reach an accident, according to News 12.There is no information about injuries, News 12 reports. Greenburgh Honors Veterans Through Living History
GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Residents in Greenburgh can watch about 150 different half-hour interviews with veterans of World War II and the Korean conflict on public access TV Memorial Day weekend.May 27-May 31, interviews will air on cablevision channel 76 and Verizon channel 35 beginning at 8 p.m. Ardsley veteran Steve Wittenberg has coordinated the living history initiative since its inception. Woman Pleads Not Guilty In Ramapo Murder For Hire Plot
RAMAPO, N.Y. -- An Airmont woman pleaded not guilty on Friday to plotting with her boyfriend to kill his wife, reports News 12 Westchester. Kelly Gribeluk, 35, and her podiatrist lover, Dr. Ira Bernstein, 41, were indicted by a grand jury on charges of conspiracy and criminal solicitation, reports News 12 Westchester. POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Students at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie were honored at an awards ceremony on May 13.The Academic Awards Ceremony honored top students who achieved honor roll, dean's list and/or Principal's Club.
