Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Carjackers Force Victim To Draw Cash From ATM: Newark Police Police in Newark are looking for a trio of carjackers who robbed a man of his car and cash July 7.  The victim was driving a four-door 2010 Pontiac Vibe when two males and a female carjacked him on Cypress Street near South 20th. Police Officer Fatally Shoots Man In Orange A 46-year-old man was shot and killed by Orange police responding to a  call Saturday afternoon, the Attorney General's office said in a statement.  Police received a 911 call shortly after 3 p.m. reporting a man with a knife at Oakwood Towers on Oakwood Avenue. Raccoon Found Burned To Death In Plainfield Authorities in Union County are asking the public's help in finding whoever was responsible for brutally killing a trapped animal in Plainfield.  The Union County Prosecutor's Office said Plainfield police were called to 429 John Street on a report of a trapped raccoon that had been set on fire.
