Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Homicide Detectives Investigating Woman's Death In Jersey City The Homicide Unit from the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the death of a 46-year-old woman in Jersey City, Prosecutor Esther Suarez said via Twitter Friday.  Investigators responded to 83 Bostwick Ave. Thursday, Suarez said. Jersey City Man, 36, Killed In Newark Crash A motorist died after a collision with a tractor-trailer in Newark Wednesday afternoon, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said.  Jason Mullins, a 36-year-old from Jersey City, was traveling west on Raymond Boulevard near Chapel St. around 2:10 p.m. in a Chevy Trax when the crash occurred.  The driver of the tractor-trailer remained at the scene.  The accident occurred not far from a junction of major roadways including Rt. 1&9 and the Turnpike.

$50G New Jersey Lottery Ticket Sold In Hudson County A Powerball ticket good for $50,000 was sold at a Union City convenience store, state lottery officials announced.  The ticket was sold at Union City News, 3202 Bergenline Ave., for the Wednesday drawing. The winning ticket matched four of five white balls and the Powerball.  The winning numbers are 16,19,25, 32 and 49, with a Red Power Ball number of 18. The multiplier was 2.  The jackpot for the next drawing on Saturday is projected to be $68 million.

Electric Scooter Sharing Coming To Hoboken Hoboken will become the first community in the state to try out a sharing program for electric scooters, Mayor Ravi S. Bhall said Thursday.  The scooter share program will be similar to bicycle shares now seen in cities across the country.
