Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Prosecutor: Summit Doctor Sexually Abused Patient For Nearly Three Years A pediatric gastroenterologist with a practice in Summit repeatedly molested a patient for nearly three years, beginning when the victim was about 17, authorities charged.  Michael Tyshkov, 62, of Livingston, was charged with sexual assault and criminal assault, Acting Prosecutor Micahel A. Hawk Ends Up In Jacuzzi Of Cranford Home As break-ins go, this one was a doozy.  Police in Cranford were called when a hawk crashed through an upper-floor bathroom window of a home March 20.  When police arrived, they found the feathered intruder sitting in the jacuzzi. Woman, 72, Hit By Car In Linden has Died A Winfield Park woman who was struck by a vehicle while crossing a Linden street March 20 died this week, police said.  Linda Vicari was crossing at the 2800 block of N. Stiles St. when she was hit shortly before 9 p.m. She was rushed to University Hospital in Newark with serious injuries. The driver, a 33-year-old Linden resident, remained at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation, police said the day after the accident.   "Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to her family during this difficult time," the department also said.
