Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Man Killed By Train In Montclair, Delays Continue Monday Morning  A man was struck and killed by an NJ Transit train early Monday morning in Montclair, NJ Transit said.  The man, who Transit said was trespassing, was struck around 5:20 a.m. near Watchung Avenue by a train bound for Penn Station in New York. None of the 30 people aboard were injured.  The man's name was not immediately released  Delays on the Montclair Boonton line were about an hour as of shortly before 10 a.m.

Update: Driver Charged In Hit And Run Of Toddler In Newark A Newark resident has been charged in a hit-and-run that left a 2-year-old girl with collapsed lungs, rib fractures and other injuries.  The girl was struck near 18th and Brookdale avenues Sunday morning when she was struck. The girl remained conscious, police said.  Later that day, Romane Errol Sr., 26, was arrested and charged with causing serious bodily injury. He was also driving with a suspended and expired license.  The little girl's family was headed to church when she was struck, according to published reports.

Suspect In Violent Bayonne Robbery Arrested A Bayonne man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in the city April 15, police said.  Elijah Cook, 20, was charged with robbery Friday and was being held at the Hudson County Jail.  Police say Cook was one of a number of people who attacked a 25-year-old man on a city street April 15 and robbed him of personal items. Cook removed the victim's cell phone from his pocket, police said.  The victim suffered facial injuries and was treated at Bayonne Medical Center.

She is a student at a school in New York City and may be there, police said. She also has friends in South Plainfield.  Bhagat is 5'10", about 150 lbs. and has brown eyes and black hair.  Anyone with information or who has recently seen Bhagat is asked to call the Jersey City Police Department at 201-547-5427.
