Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Jersey City Man Sentenced To Life For 2016 Slaying A 28-year-old Jersey City man who was found guilty of murder after just 90 minutes of jury deliberation was sentenced Friday to life in prison for the crime, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office said. David Cooper shot Ahmin Colclough, 20, in the back of the neck on Sept. 19, 2016. Colclough, also of Jersey City, was killed. Cooper was later found guilty of the murder as well as two weapons offenses, for which he was sentenced Friday to seven years apiece. Those sentences will run concurrent to the life sentence.
