One Killed, Five Injured In Winslow Township Crash: Police A person was killed in a crash that injured five others in Winslow on Sunday, March 23, authorities said. At 3 p.m., officers responded to a crash on Sicklerville Road and Sheridan Drive and discovered six people with numerous injuries, Winslow Township police said. One person was airlifted to a nearby hospital while three juveniles were transported by ambulance, police said. Two people were transported to another hospital, authorities said. The driver of one of the vehicles succumbed to their injuries, police said. The crash remains under investigation, police said.

Man Learns Fate For Toms River Shooting: Prosecutor A 20-year-old Toms River resident was sentenced to five years in prison on Friday, March 21 for shooting a man last year, authorities said. On Wednesday, June 12, at 11:30 p.m., Toms River police responded to a residence at Adams Avenue after Anthony Brown retrieved a handgun and fired two shots at a vehicle, striking a man, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said. Brown and the victim both fled the scene, authorities said. Trenton Man Arrested In Louisiana After Fatal Drive-By Shooting: Prosecutor A 33-year-old Trenton man was apprehended in Louisiana on Wednesday, March 19 after fatally shooting a man last week, authorities said. At 9:23 p.m. on Thursday, March 13,, police responded to Dayton and Grand Streets after a Shot Spotter detected multiple rounds of gunfire, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta Marbrey said. Inmates Dies At Hudson County Correctional: Prosecutor A 63-year-old Jersey City inmate died at Hudson County Correctional Center in Kearny on Friday, March 21, authorities said. At 12:15 p.m., the Hudson County Correctional Facility found Derrick Ellis unresponsive in his cell, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. He was transported to Jersey City Medical center where he was soon pronounced dead, Suarez said. The New Jersey Office of the Attorney General was notified and the incident remains under investigation, Suarez said.

Piscataway Woman Charged In Fatal Hit, Run That Killed Mother Of Three: Prosecutor A 62-year-old Piscataway woman was arrested and charged on Thursday, March 20 for fatally hitting a pedestrian with her car last August and leaving the scene, authorities said. On Friday, Aug. 30, Plainfield police responded the the 400 block of East Front Street and found Jennifer Harris, 65, fatally struck by a vehicle, Union County Prosecutor William A.
