Ingesting Cannabis Gummies Sends 4 Students to Hospital: Ewing PD Four students were hospitalized after they ingested cannabis gummies on Monday, March 24 in Ewing, authorities said. At 8:55 a.m., police responded to Stern Civics Charter School on a report of students who ingested the cannabis gummies, Ewing police said. Four students were transported to area hospitals as a precaution, police said. The Division of Child Protection and Permanency is investigating, police said. The school's founder Leigh Byron told NJ.com, the kids are now home, and the student who gave them the gummies has been identified and disciplined.
