Police: Teen Arrested After Wearing Jacket, Earrings Out Of Fairfield Store FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Fairfield teenager was arrested Friday after he stole a jacket and earrings from Kohl’s by trying to wear them out of the store, police said. Store employees told officers that 19-year-old Kavon Bevis Polk took merchandise into a fitting room and then left wearing a men’s jacket and a pair of earrings valued at $140, police said. He was detained as he tried to leave the store, police said. Officers found Polk’s old jacket left behind in the fitting room, police said. Polk was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court Feb. 22.
