Detectives are searching for a man they believe may have stolen a gold and diamond bracelet valued at over $13,500 from a local shop, police said.  After he was shown other pieces of jewelry in the 11 a.m. incident, the man made several attempts to unclip different pieces before successfully taking the bracelet, police said. Trumbull Man Charged With Harassing Ex-Fiancee In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Trumbull man was arrested on harassment charges Sunday after he sent several text messages to his ex-fiancee, who has a protective order against him, Fairfield police said. Michael Young, 46, of Barnswallow Road, was charged with second-degree harassment and violation of a protective order, police said. He posted $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court Feb. 29. The Fairfield woman told officers she received a series of text messages from Young, the father of her child, which led her to believe he had been in her home, police said.
