Police: Shelton Man Sold Drugs In Fatal Overdose SHELTON, Conn. — A Shelton man was arrested Wednesday after police determined he had sold drugs to a man who was found dead in his home last fall, police said. Jerome Downing, 39, was charged with two counts of illegal sale of narcotics, police said. He was held on $25,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in Derby Superior Court on Wednesday.
