CARLSTADT, N.J. – Cipriano W. Newball Jr., a resident of Carlstadt for 37 years, died Sunday, April 10. He was 80.
Newball served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Carlstadt First Presbyterian Church, a Shriner, a 32nd Degree Mason and Past President of the Eastern Star.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine Newball; children Alicia Castro and her husband Hector and Lisa Gillen and her husband Ken; along with his grandchildren Julian, Damian, Kylie and Ian.

HACKENSACK, N.J. – Alexander O. Pellegrini, a resident of Rivervale and formerly of Hackensack, died Satuday, April 9. He was 67.
He was born July 10,1948, in Hackensack.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He also was a recipient of the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor and One Oak Leaf Cluster. Before retiring, he worked as a machinist for the New York Times in New York City. In addition, he was a member of the American Legion.
