Easton Library Dishes Up Old-Fashioned Family Fun With Country Fair EASTON, Conn. -- As the leaves change color and temperatures dip, it's a sure sign that it's fall and time for the 7th annual Country Fair and Cow Chip Raffle at the Easton Public Library. The country fair held last weekend offered activities for the whole family. Make-a-wish Benefits From Family Fun Day At Sports Center In Shelton SHELTON, Conn. -- The Sports Center in Shelton served up a morning of fun-filled activities for kids this past weekend — and it was all for a good cause. The Sport Center joined forces with the Gault Family Cos. of Westport for a fundraiser to benefit Make-A-Wish Connecticut of Trumbull. The day was hosted by Gault, which had a truck parked in front for kids to see and touch — and even sit in. The purpose of the event was to raise money for the next Make-A-Wish. Newtown Arts Festival Invades Fairfield Hills Campus To Delight Of Crowds NEWTOWN, Conn. -- The fifth annual Newtown Arts Festival drew large crowds last weekend to the campus of Fairfield Hills, with plenty of food, arts, and entertainment for people of all ages to enjoy. Kids Learn Valuable Lessons In Safety At Annual Ridgefield Event RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — Residents turned out on a warm Sunday to learn more about staying safe as the Ridgefield Police Department and Ridgefield Fire Department held the town's annual safety day at East Ridge Middle School. Huntington Congregational Church Rolls Out Classic Cars For Shelton Show SHELTON, Conn. -- Classic car fans turned out in droves Sunday as the Huntington Congregational Church in Shelton honored its late organist with the for the fourth annual Bruce E.
