PLEASANT VALLEY, N.Y. – Suzanne Roth, a resident of Pleasant Valley, died Tuesday, June 28. She was 49.
Born Dec. 30, 1966, she was the daughter of Bruce and Carole Daniels.
She worked at Arcadia Fields in Millbrook as livestock farm manager. This was her dream job, and she loved every minute of it, especially raising her Angus beef cows. At the age of 16, she traveled to Florida with trainer Tom Struzzieri, where she broke racehorses with renowned Shug McGauty.

CARLSTADT, N.J. – James V. DeRado, a resident of Carlstadt, formerly of Jersey City, died Tuesday, June 28. He was 89.
He was born to Luige and Mary Norcia and raised in Jersey City.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. For 15 years, he worked for Westinghouse in Jersey City then moved to Florida and worked for ITT until retiring.

HACKENSACK, N.J. – Moises R. Canal, a resident of Hackensack, died Wednesday, June 29. He was 93.
He was born in Colombia,and came to United States in 1955.
He was a retired machinist.

Born March 15,1933, in the Bronx, she was the daughter of the late Frank Fein and Helen Laxstrom.
She was a retired outpatient registrar at Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie. She was an area resident since 1972 and previously resided in Ringwood, N.J. She was a member at Regina Coeli Church in Hyde Park.
