George Joseph Negri, 89, Of Rhinebeck
RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- George Joseph Negri, a resident of Rhinebeck, died Thursday, Feb.11. He was 89.Negri served in the Army during World War II and was awarded a commendation for outstanding service in Taegu, Korea. He received his bachelor's degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. He worked for McKesson Corp. in as a regional account manager for the New York area and later for the former Molloy Pharmacy in Hyde Park.
He is survived by his niece and nephews.

Blue Horse Repertory Brings Improv To Carmel's Arts On The Lake
CARMEL, N.Y. -- The Blue Horse Repertory Company will bring an afternoon workshop and an evening performance of, "Horse/Play" to Arts on the Lake on Saturday, Feb.20.The worshop runs from 3-5 p.m., and the performance starts at 7 p.m.

James Vincent Salerno, 86, Of Fishkill
FISHKILL, N.Y. -- James Vincent Salerno, a resident of Fishkill, died Friday, Feb.12. He was 86.He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1947 and served during the Korean conflict. He was honorably discharged in 1952. After returning from service, he enrolled in college and graduated from Adelphi University. He was a chemist and worked for Stella D'Oro Biscuit Co. in the Bronx for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Dippolito; two sons, George Salerno of Fishkill and Jim Salerno Jr. of Brewster; a daughter, Lynda Weber and her husband Alan of Simbury, Conn.; two grandsons, Robert and Matthew…
