Dumont Knights Planning Two Octoberfest Events DUMONT, N.J. -- Everyone is invited to celebrate the First Annual Octoberfest with the Dumont Knights on Saturday, Sept. 17.Two events are planned by St. John’s Council #1345, Knights of Columbus, serving Bergenfield and Dumont. There is a free daytime event, and an additional evening German Fest. No reservations are necessary for the outdoor event from 1-5 p.m. There will be music by "Seeking the Seeker," along with sausages, hot dogs, hamburgers, beverages and pretzels. Schumer Calls For Firefighter Cancer Registry POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Firefighters from Westchester County gathered to hear a message of cancer hope outside of Poughkeepsie's Main Street fire station.With Tower Ladder 2 as a backdrop, U.S. Sen.
