Norwood 'Fast And Flat 5K' Benefits Local Causes NORWOOD, N.J. -- Runners and walkers looking for a different race course can turn to the Norwood Fast and Flat 5K on Saturday, Oct. 22.Founded in 2005, the race attracts runners from all over Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, Rockland, and other surrounding counties looking to run a new personal best time. Wordsmiths Will Discuss Writing At Englewood Library ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- A free group for writers meets monthly at the Englewood Library. The next meeting is Thursday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. in the library’s Mackay Room. The group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month, and the program is free and open to the public.
