CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Anita Hersh of Cliffside Park died on Dec. 25. She was 90. She was employed at Michelle, Arnold, and Edouard Beauty Salon in Fort Lee as a receptionist for 20 years. She loved cooking for the family, gardening and Boston Terriers. Her first love was to take care of the needs of her children and grandchildren. Yorktown Town Board Adopts 2017 Budget
YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Board approved the $55.9 million 2017 budget 4-1. Councilman Vishnu Patel voted against the budget because he objected to the discontinuance of the $30 open space tax, according to cityinfo.org. He also expressed concern about the increasing expenses in the budget, focusing on the 10 additional staff positions in the added over the past five years.
