Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Elizabeth Team Is Headed To Little League World Series The Troopers of Elizabeth lived up to their name Saturday by defeating a team from New York and earning the chance to compete in the Little League World Series.  The Elmora Youth League team bested Haverstraw 19-4 in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Final in Bristol, Ct., Saturday. Hillside Man, 34, Killed In Newark; City's Fifth Fatal Shooting In A Week The Essex County Prosecutor's Office is investigating after a man was shot and killed in Newark Friday night.  Paul L. Boykins, 34, was struck by gunfire around 10 p.m. near 50 N. 5th Street. He was taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.  Boykins is the fifth person killed in Newark since Aug. 3.
