Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

'American Gangster' Lawyer Sentenced In Theft Case A Bloomfield attorney will serve 270 hours of community service and must pay restitution after admitting he stole $20,000 in clients' funds, the state Attorney General said Thursday.  Richard M. Roberts, 81, pleaded guilty to perjury and theft by failure to make required disposition of property owed in Morris County Superior Court earlier this summer. Mosquitoes Test Positive For Serious But Rare EEE Virus In Berkeley Heights A mosquito pool found in Berkeley Heights has tested positive for Eastern equine encephelatis (EEE), a virus-borne disease that is especially dangerous to children under 15 and adults over 50, the township said in a statement Tuesday.  The pool of infected mosquitoes was found in the area of Emerson Lane near the Warren border during testing by the Union County Bureau of Mosquito Control.  EEE can be transmitted to humans via the bite of an infected mosquito, according to the state Department of Health.
