Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Newark Police Looking For Shooter Who Wounded Man During Fight The Newark Police Division has issued an arrest warrant for a 27-year-old city man who shot and wounded another man Friday.  Police were called to the 100 block of 1st Street around 6:20 p.m. on a report of a shooting. They victim was taken to University Hospital for treatment and released.  The man had been quarreling with Faquir "Poppi" Parish (pictured) and was last seen heading south on 1st Street, police said. Update: Woman, 26, Shot And Killed In Bayonne Identified, Suspect Arrested A 26-year-old Bayonne woman was shot and killed early Sunday and a suspect is under arrest, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.  Police were called to 484 John F. Kennedy Boulevard around 5:10 a.m. on a report of shots fired during a domestic violence incident. Arriving officers found a woman who had sustained a gunshot wound. Reward Up To $10K For Information On Newark Shooting That Killed Two The Essex County Sheriff's Crime Stopper program is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a fatal shooting in Newark Saturday afternoon.  Two 30-year-old city men, Hassan Ward and Jasson Duffy, were killed when gunfire erupted near 45 Mercer St. around 2:39 p.m., authorities said. Driver With History Of DWIs Sentenced In Killing Of East Orange Pedestrian A 44-year-old Irvington man who was under the influence of alcohol when he fatally struck a pedestrian five years ago was sentenced to 14 years in prison, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said Friday.  Carlos Green had two prior DWI convictions on Dec. 27, 2014, when he struck Billy Ray Dudley at 19th Avenue and Ellis Street in Irvington.
