Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Man Indicted For Murder In Fatal Plainfield Shooting A Plainfield man who was found at the Baltimore home of a family member after he was charged with murder has been indicted on charges stemming from the fatal shooting, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday.  Djuan Gamble, 26, shot and killed 32-year-old Jacquan Heyward of Plainfield at the Liberty Village housing complex May 26, authorities said. Gamble was identified as a suspect and charged June 12. Bayonne Man Charged In Series Of Burglaries A Bayonne man has been charged in a string of burglaries and thefts dating back to April, police said.  Frank Citron knew the victims in at least some of the cases, police also said.  Citron is accused of stealing $2,800 in electronics from a Newman Avenue home April 16. The victim, a 48-year-old woman, knew Citron. One Dead In Newark House Fire, Another Seriously Hurt Dozens of firefighters responded to a multi-family Newark residence Wednesday morning, officials said.  Fire broke out at 388 Summer Ave. shortly before 6 a.m. Sixty-five firefighters were called to the two-alarm blaze before it was brought under control around 6:40 a.m.  One person jumped from a window to escape the blaze, according to media reports.  Firefighters also discovered a deceased male on the first floor of the home. Man Found Guilty In Jersey City Slaying; Two Others Also Convicted A Jersey City man was found guilty of a fatal shooting in the city and two others were convicted of related charges last week, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.  Marquise Brown, 25, was convicted of murder and other charges in the death of Amir Pleasant, 20, of Jersey City.  Pleasant was sitting in his car on Dwight Street April 29 when Brown approached and shot him multiple times.
