Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

BMW, Tractor-Trailer Crash Shuts Rt. 22 East In Hillside, One Dead Traffic was being detoured away from Rt. 22 eastbound in Hillside Monday morning after a BMW sedan crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer, ABC7 reports. The area between Bloy and North Broad streets was shut down for the crash investigation, which has been underway since early this morning. Off-Duty Corrections Officer In Newark Involved In Shooting An off-duty law enforcement officer shot and wounded a person early Sunday morning in Newark, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office confirmed.  The officer, who works for the Department of Corrections, was not hurt, RLS Media reported. NJ Man Jammed Newark Airport GPS Signals, FCC Says The Federal Communications Commission has issued a stern warning to a New Jersey man who allegedly used an electronic device that jams GPS signals.  The warning? Knock it off. Nutley Man In High-Speed Crash Indicted For Vehicular Homicide: Authorities A 26-year-old Nutley man was indicted Wednesday on charges of aggravated manslaughter and vehicular homicide for slamming into another vehicle in Mount Laurel at more than 100 mph, the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said.  Authorities say William Dunbar was driving northbound on Rt. 73 in August when he crashed into the back of a vehicle driven northbound by Christopher Pappas, 34, of Howell. Swastika Found At Summit Middle School School officials in Summit have renewed efforts to encourage tolerance among the students as authorities try to determine who is placing swastikas on school property.  In the latest incident, the graffiti was discovered a few weeks ago in the stall of the girls restroom at Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School.
