Man Shot To Death In Capital District On 21st Birthday Police in the Capital District are trying to figure out who shot a man to death on his 21st birthday. Schenectady Police were called at around 11:30 p.m. Monday, May 30, with reports of a man lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds near State and Hulett streets. By the time officers arrived the victim had already been taken to Ellis Hospital by private vehicle, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
