Traffic Stop In Capital District Turns Up Stolen Car, Gun, Drugs Three people are facing charges after state troopers recovered a stolen car and gun in the Capital District. Troopers in Columbia County stopped the Hyundai Santa Fe just before 1 p.m. Thursday, July 14, on State Route 9 near Stickles Road in Livingston. The vehicle had been reported stolen from Livingston the previous Friday, July 8, according to New York State Police. Stratford resident Luis Colon, age 51, was sentenced to 32 months behind bars Tuesday, July 12, in federal court in Hartford. It followed his March 2021 guilty pleas to charges of conspiring to possess and distribute fentanyl, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
