Man Killed In Car Crash With Tree: Morris Plains PD A man in his 60s was killed when his car struck a tree on the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 6, authorities said. At 10 a.m., a vehicle traveling south on Littleton Road near Route 202 struck a tree in the area of Totten Way, Morris Plains police said. No other vehicles were involved and the crash remains under investigation, police said. The male driver, whose name has not been released, was transported to Morristown Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Lidl Opening In Passaic County Shopping Center A new grocery store is coming soon to a popular shopping center. Lidl, which is based in Germany announced it is opening in Totowa Commons. While an opening date has not been announced, the 27,270 square foot store is set to open sometime this year.  This will be the grocery store's second Passaic County location, joining one in Pompton Lakes. The grocery store chain has 22 locations throughout the Garden State.
