Fairfield Woman Charged With Shoplifting At Grocery Store FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Fairfield woman was arrested on charges of stealing groceries from ShopRite on Sunday afternoon, police said. Police said Malshi Vitore, 55, of Stratfield Road, was charged with sixth-degree larceny after she tried to leave the Black Rock Turnpike store at 4:30 p.m. without paying for veal chops, olive oil, chestnuts, hot dogs and other groceries. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 17.

Bridgeport Woman Charged With Shoplifting At Kohl's In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Bridgeport woman was arrested Friday on shoplifting charges, accused of stealing more than $260 worth of clothing, jewelry and candles from Kohl’s department store on Tunxis Hill Road in Fairfield, police said Monday. Marcia Daniels, 59, of Atlantic Street, Bridgeport, was observed putting a silver ring, a necklace, a vest, a shirt and two candles into a bag before exiting the store without paying for the items, police said. Police arrested Daniels at her home. She was released from custody on $250 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 17.
