Fairfield Police Release Photos, Video Of Bank Robbery Suspect FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Police have released photos and video Wednesday of a May 20 bank robbery in hopes the public can help identify the suspect. The robbery occurred at about 9:20 a.m. at the Webster Bank, 1177 Post Road, police said. The suspect entered the bank, approached a teller and handed her a note, police said. The suspect did not display a weapon, police said. After receiving money from the teller, the suspect fled in a newer model maroon vehicle, police said. PCBs Detected In Sediment Samples At Former Exide Site In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Exide Corp. and the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection have found polychlorinated biphenyls — or PCBs — in select dredge samples collected from a stockpile on Exide’s former Post Road location, Fairfield officials announced this week.
