New Jersey Woman Charged With Assaulting Ex-Boyfriend In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A 19-year-old New Jersey woman was arrested Saturday after she punched her ex-boyfriend several times after seeing him dancing with another woman, police said. The victim said he was dancing with a female friend when the woman he had dated for a year came up to him and began attacking him, police said. Man, 52, Charged in Domestic Incident In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A 52-year-old Fairfield man was charged with third-degree assault after he broke his ex-wife’s car window and then became physically and verbally abusive to her in front of their teenage children, police said. The couple’s son had been driving his mother’s car, which broke down, and the father had gotten the vehicle home around 9:15 p.m. Oct. 18, when he smashed the rear window with his hand, police said. Dannel Malloy on Monday signed legislation securing Sikorsky Aircraft’s future in Connecticut, after touring a Housatonic Community College program that will likely provide future workers for the Stratford business.
