Fairfield Police: Wallet Thief Goes On $3,800 Spree At Trumbull Mall FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Bridgeport man was arrested Feb. 3 on charges of stealing a Fairfield man’s wallet and racking up more than $3,800 in charges to the victim’s credit card at the Westfield Trumbull mall, police said Monday. Tyler Wesley Johnson, 24, of Parrot Avenue, was charged with third-degree larceny, illegal use of a credit card, receiving goods/services obtained illegally, third-degree identity theft, criminal impersonation and second-degree forgery, police said. Fairfield Cops: Woman, 56, Charged With Stealing Justin Bieber Perfume FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A 56-year-old Fairfield woman was arrested after she allegedly stole five bottles of fragrance, including selections from the Justin Bieber collection, from the CVS on Black Rock Turnpike, police said. Diane Marie Surat, of Trefoil Court, was charged with sixth-degree larceny Feb. 3, after she left the store with the bottles, valued at $89.95, police said. Girl, 4, Recovering After Being Hit By Car At Tomlinson School In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A 4-year-old Fairfield girl spent the night at Bridgeport Hospital after she was hit by a car driven by a 76-year-old Norwalk man at Tomlinson Middle School on Saturday afternoon, Fairfield police said.
