NCHS students wearing Scholarship Drive t-shirts will go door-to-door in New Canaan to collect donations for college scholarships for fellow NCHS students. Since 1967, the NCHS Scholarship Foundation has provided need-based financial aid for NCHS graduates pursuing a higher education. Fair Lawn's Wayne Robbins Presents Fair Lawn's 'Taste Of Our Town' FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- The Fair Lawn Chamber of Commerce presented its seventh annual "Taste of Our Town" event last Monday, Feb. 29, to raise money for the local food pantry. As reported by the Daily Voice the following day, this year's event was a big success, with over 200 guests and 27 restaurants bringing tastes of their cuisine. Lauren Schoen rolled out a proposal to lease over 1,0000 Hewlett Packard laptops at last Wednesday's school board meeting, The Record reported. The proposal would be for Mahwah High School and Ramapo Ridge Middle School, and use HP laptops, instead of the Chromebooks, because of compatibility concerns, The Record story noted. New Canaan's Silver Hill Hospital Discusses Eating Disorders Survey NEW CANAAN, Conn. — Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan said a recent survey found people struggling with eating disorders say they are misunderstood and compare their bodies to others on social media.  The survey polled over 2,300 people diagnosed with an eating disorder or who engage in disordered eating. Nearly half said most people are either not understanding or critical of their illness. Veronica Andrea (Harvey) Delaney, 94, Bronxville Resident BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Veronica Andrea (Harvey) Delaney -- a Bronxville resident, formerly of Mount Vernon and Southbury, Connecticut -- died on Sunday, March 6. She was 94. Delaney is survived by her children, Thomas, Veronica Kearney, Mary O'Reilly and John; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
