Two From University Of Bridgeport Honored As Women Of Innovation
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Connecticut Technology Council has included engineering professor Dr. Jani Macari Pallis and PhD candidate Wafa Elmannai, with the University of Bridgeport, among its 2016 Women of Innovation.
The pair will be honored on Wednesday, April 6, for distinguishing themselves as leaders in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math, who are involved in volunteer efforts in their community.

Stratford Library Hosts Afternoon Of One-Act Plays By Local Authors
STRATFORD, Conn. -- The SquareWrights Playwright Group will present "Quickies in the Stacks: Quoth the Bard," six original short one-act plays, on Saturday, April 2, at the Stratford Library.
The staged reading festival features works inspired by quotes from Shakespeare, in honor of the Bard's birthday and the 400th anniversary of his death on April 23. The plays, all by Stratford playwrights, are
