Antonio D'Errico, 92, East Rutherford Resident
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Antonio D'Errico, of East Rutherford, died on Thursday, Feb. 16. He was 92.
Born in Italy, D'Errico immigrated to the United States in 1966. He was a warehouse operator for Beta Screen Corp., in Carlstadt, for 15 years. He retired 26 years ago.
He was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, and he loved gardening.
D'Errico is survived by his wife, Onorata (Rotondo) D’Errico; children Peter and his wife Franca, and Giacomo and his wife Cindy; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

GARFIELD, N.J. -- Sophie W. (Augustyn) Polcari, of Garfield, died on Monday, Feb. 20. She was 89.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin R.C. Church in Garfield.
Polcari is survived by her children, William "Billy" Polcari and Theresa "Terry" Catello; grandson Dean Catello and his wife Laurice; and siblings Diane Cavaliere and Stanley Augustyn.
She was preceded by her husband, William Polcari; son-in-law Patrick Catello; and siblings Mary Marquez, Wanda Sage, and Walter, Chester, Joseph, Valerian and Mitchel Augustyn.

GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Daniel A. Crifo, of Glen Rock, died on Saturday, Feb. 18. He was 69.
Born and raised in Jersey City, Crifo moved to Glen Rock 43 years ago. He was a parishioner and lector at St. Catharine Roman Catholic Church in Glen Rock.
Before he retired, he was an actuary and assistant vice president with Verisk Analytics, formerly Insurance Services Office, for 40 years. He was an associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

EMERSON, N.J. -- At the beginning of her second semester at Penn State, 19-year-old Madison Holleran, a soccer and track star from Allendale, took her life, much to the shock and horror of her family and the community.
To help raise awareness about teen suicide, her family began a foundation, and Emerson High School's Key Club is hosting a trivia night on Wednesday, Feb. 22, to raise funds for it -- and the public is invited.

GARFIELD, N.J. -- Lillian C. Bucaro, of Garfield, died on Sunday, Feb. 19. She was 102.
She was a homemaker and was secretary-treasurer for the Ladies Bowling League of Lodi.

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS N.J. -- Robert E. Philburn Sr., of Hasbrouck Heights, died on Saturday, Feb. 18. He was 84.

Geneva Witalis, 95, of Lyndhurst
LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Geneva Witalis, of Lyndhurst, died on Saturday, Feb. 18. She was 95.
Born in Thorpe, West Virginia, her family moved to Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, and later to Newark. Later, she resided in Kearny and Lyndhurst.

DUMONT, N.J. -- Evelyn (Leon) Paulsen, of Dumont, died on Saturday, Feb. 18. She was 83.
Born and raised in Jersey City, Paulsen worked as a fragrance evaluator for Noville Essential Oils in North Bergen and Moonachie for over 30 years.

LODI, N.J. -- Theresa (Pizzi) Quatrone, of Lodi, died on Saturday, Feb. 18. She was 83.
Raised in Garfield, Quatrone earned her bachelor's degree from Trenton State University and her master's degree from William Paterson State University. She majored in education and taught in the primary grades at Teaneck, Paramus and Saddle Brook.
She was a retired member of the NJEA, BCEA, SBEA and the Women's Italian American Forum. She was a Eucharistic minister and lector at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, in Garfield, and a lector at Saint Joseph Church, in Lodi. She also taught CCD at the former. …
