Ines Adele Carenza, 89, Former New Milford Resident
NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- Ines Adele Carenza, a former resident of New Milford, died on Tuesday, Feb. 21. She was 89.
Born in Milan, Italy, Carenza emigrated to the United States following World War II. She was a longtime parishioner of Ascension Roman Catholic Church, in New Milford.
She also worked for many years as a dental technician at Madison, Fields, Lincoln Labs in Clifton.

Helen E. Clapper, 95, Longtime Elmwood Park Resident
ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Helen E. (Slominn) Clapper, of Elmwood Park, died on Saturday, Feb. 18. She was 95.
Born and raised in Cliffside Park, Clapper had lived in Elmwood Park since 1946. Before she retired, she was an office administrator with Interchange Bank, in Saddle Brook, for many years.
She was a parishioner of St. John's Lutheran Church in Passaic, where she taught Sunday school for 36 years. She was also a Brownie leader of Troop 108, in Elmwood Park, and she enjoyed knitting.

Frank J. Trotter Jr., 95, East Rutherford Resident
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Frank J. Trotter Jr., of East Rutherford, died on Tuesday, Feb. 21. He was 95.
Trotter was a crossing guard in the Borough of East Rutherford from 2002-2008. Before that, he was a custodian at Rutherford High School for 17 years, retiring in 1987. He was originally a glass blower at East Rutherford Syringe for 27 years, retiring in 1963.
He was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church. He coached East Rutherford Little League, and he was an avid bowler and longtime Brooklyn Dodgers Fan.

Dennis James Galgano, 76, Longtime Hackensack Resident
HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Dennis James Galgano, of Hackensack, died on Thursday, Feb. 16. He was 76.
Born in Hackensack, Galgano lived in Westwood for 22 years before settling in Hackensack 54 years ago. He served the U.S. Marine Corps from 1958-1964.
He was a realtor with Clinton Realty, in Hackensack, before he retired. He was a member of Teaneck Moose Lodge 961.
Galgano is survived by his children, Sherri Galgano-Vasquez and Kevin Galgano; siblings Donnie Galgano, Richard Galgano and Betty Tomaro; and grandchildren Ryan, Jenna, Jonah and Sierra.

DUMONT, N.J. -- Angie Matarangas, of Dumont, died on Monday, Feb 20. She was 95.
Born in New York City, Matarangas was a sales representative at Scholastic Magazine of Englewood Cliffs for many years. She retired in 1985.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Women's Guild, and the Cresskill and Dumont Senior Citizens.
Matarangas is survived by her sons, Barry, and Dennis and his wife Vincenza, and grandchildren, Alexis Allegra, Anthony, Nicholas, Christopher, Alexander and Allegra Matarangas.

DUMONT, N.J. -- Ariadni Pavlides, of Dumont, died on Tuesday, Feb. 21. She was 89.
Born in Cyprus, Pavlides immigrated to the United States in 1950. She lived in Englewood, prior to moving to Dumont in 1965. She was a hostess at her husband's business, the Forest Diner, in Englewood.

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Ronald C. Scire, of Saddle Brook, died on Monday, Feb. 20. He was 52.
Scire grew up in Lodi before moving to Saddle Brook five years ago.
