Before settling into the Hudson Valley, Zak! previously spent time in the New York Daily News newsroom and worked for hyperlocal digital news outlets on Long Island. John’Ta Price, 29, was sentenced to 40 months in prison after pleading guilty earlier this summer to multiple charges, including attempted stalking, blackmail, and child sexual abuse.  According to prosecutors, between March 2015 and February 2020, Price stalked his first victim, who was approximately 13 to 18 years old at the time. Toddler's Death In DC Ruled Homicide By Blunt Force Injuries, Police Say The death of a 1-year-old boy who was killed during an incident last week in Southeast DC has been ruled a homicide by the Chief Medical Examiner. Members of the Metropolitan Police Department were called shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22 to a home in the 1800 block of 18th Street SE, where they found Jordan Ballard unresponsive. The child was rushed by DC Fire and EMS personnel to an area hospital, where, despite lifesaving measures, he died.
