3-Car Collision Leaves Person Injured, Slows Traffic On Busy Hudson Valley Road A crash involving three vehicles left a person injured and clogged traffic on a busy Hudson Valley road. On Wednesday, Dec. 21, around 3:15 p.m., first responders in Putnam County were sent to Route 6 near the Park Ford dealership for a three-car collision, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department. Upon arriving, police started directing traffic while emergency responders tended to those involved in the accident, members of the department said. Yonkers Police Searching For Suspect Who Stabbed Man The search is on for a suspect who stabbed a man in the arm in Westchester County, police said. On Monday morning, Dec. 19, a man was stabbed in the arm near Highland Avenue at South Broadway (Route 9A), according to Yonkers Police Lieutenant Dean Politopoulos. The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident, Politopoulos said. The stabbing is still under investigation. 5 Catalytic Converter Thieves Caught With Fentanyl In Region: Police Five people are facing charges after being caught with stolen catalytic converters and illegal narcotics after a traffic stop, police said. On Tuesday, Dec. 20, around 5 p.m. police in Columbia County pulled over a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria in Canaan that matched the description of a vehicle that had been used in the theft of catalytic converters, according to New York State Police. Thousands Raised To Help Mount Vernon Cheerleading Team Compete In National Championship A community is pulling together to help give a Westchester County cheerleading team the opportunity of a lifetime.
