Skillman Man Killed After Car Strikes Truck: Montgomery Twp PD A 64-year-old Skillman man was killed after he struck the back of a truck on the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 19, authorities said. At 10 a.m., police responded to Route 206 near the Nassau Tennis Club after a man driving a 2017 Subaru struck a 2019 International delivery truck, Montgomery Township police said. The driver of the Subaru had to be extricated from the vehicle and was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said. Raid Nets Marijuana, $279K In Cash Seized From Brick Township Man: Ocean County Prosecutor A 37-year-old Brick Township man was arrested and charged after drugs were seized from his residence on Tuesday, Feb. 11, authorities said. James Giordano was using a residence on Hammock Road to store and distribute marijuana and psilocybin, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said. Family Seeks Washington Township Woman Missing Since August A family is hoping to locate a Gloucester County woman missing since August, authorities said. Katherine O'Donnell was last seen in Stafford, the Washington Township Police Department said. She is known to frequent Lindenwold and Philadelphia. Driver, 35, Found Lying Next To Crashed Mercedes Benz In Branchburg Dies: Police A 35-year-old Whippany man was killed in a car crash on Route 202 in Branchburg on Tuesday, Feb. 18, authorities said. At 10:08 p.m., officers responded to a single-car collision at Route 202 and Whiton Road and found a 2024 blue Mercedes Coupe overturned, Branchburg police said. North Bergen Cop Resigns After Sexual Assault Charge: Police Roberto Gonzalez, a police officer in North Bergen resigned last November after being charged with sexual assault. Gonzalez was previously suspended after he was charged with sexual assault in Essex County in March 2023, according to the police department's annual discipline report. Three Shot, One Critical In Newark Broad Daylight Shooting: Police (Photos) One person is in critical condition after three people were shot in Newark on the morning of Wednesday, February 19, authorities said. A 10:11 a.m., police responded to the 600 block of South 17th Street and found three people, two women and one man shot, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said. The shooting victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, Miranda said.
