Two South River Men Sold Fentanyl That Killed Barnegat Woman: Prosecutor Two South River men were arrested and charged on Tuesday, April 22, after authorities say they sold fentanyl that killed a 34-year-old woman two months ago. On Wednesday, Feb. 26, Barnegat Township Police responded to a residence and found a woman, who was not identified, dead from a drug overdose, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said. An investigation determined Jeffrey Zachary, 56, and Ronald Zackery, 59, supplied the woman with heroin and fentanyl, Billhimer said. Car Wash Employee Killed After Struck By Vehicle: New Brunswick PD A 54-year-old employee at Trax Car Crash in New Brunswick was killed after he was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday, April 22, authorities said. At 1:15 p.m., a vehicle driven by an 81-year-old woman accelerated while entering the tunnel portion of the car wash on Route 18 and struck Enrique Barahona and the tunnel structure, New Brunswick police said. Barahona, a New Brunswick resident, sustained fatal injuries while two other employees sustained minor injuries, police said. The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said. The crash remains under investigation, police said.

Bridgewater Man Killed After Car Strikes Guardrail: Police A 53-year-old Bridgewater man was killed following a single car crash on the morning of Thursday April 17, authorities said. William Sullivan was driving a 2018 Subaru CrossTrek on Woodlawn Avenue when he struck the curb and ran off the south side of the roadway, Bridgewater police said.
