Infant Found In Lakewood Minivan Dies: Prosecutor A 4-month old infant died after he was found in a vehicle on Tuesday, March 18, authorities said. At 1:45 p.m., police responded to 5th Street and found paramedics rendering lifesaving aid to the baby, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said. The baby was transported to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, where he was pronounced dead, Billhimer said. The incident remains under investigation, Billhimer said.

At 3:30 p.m., officers responded to Cooper Road for a report of a two-car crash involving a law enforcement vehicle, Denville police said. Steven Vasquez, the other driver, was determined to be intoxicated and he was arrested, police said.
