Eduardo Vega, age 58, of Islip Terrace, was sentenced to 25 years behind bars in Suffolk County Court on Thursday, Oct. 17, in the death of 34-year-old Roshane McLaren. Josselin Ordonez-Sanchez, age 15, and Meylin Garcia-Alvarado, age 17, both of Riverhead, were reported missing, according to the New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse. Ordonez-Sanchez was last seen on Thursday, Oct. 10. She was wearing a blue skirt, pink jacket, green shoes, and carrying a pink backpack. Her hair is dyed dark red. Daquan Booker, age 34, of Smithtown, was arraigned on multiple drug charges in Nassau County Court on Tuesday, Oct. 15, following the death of Garden City High School senior Grace Wrightington. Nathalie Sevilla, age 15, was last seen leaving her Lawrence residence at around 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11. Relatives contacted Nassau County Police on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Sevilla is 5-foot-6 and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Her clothing description and possible destination were not immediately available.
