22-Year-Old Stabbed To Death At East Patchogue Apartment Complex A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death during a fight at a Long Island apartment complex. Officers responded to the Heatherwood apartments in East Patchogue, located just steps from NYU Langone Hospital, for a fight at around 8 p.m. Sunday, March 30. Once on scene, they located Justin Evans suffering from a stab wound to his neck, according to Suffolk County Police. Evans, of Bay Shore, was driven by private vehicle to NYU Langone, where he was pronounced dead, police said. No suspects had been arrested as of Monday afternoon, March 31. Mom Stabs 16-Year-Old Son During Argument In Schenectady, Police Say A Capital Region mother is accused of stabbing her teenage son. Schenectady Police responded to a residence on State Street near Furnam Street for a report of a stabbing shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday, March 30. Officers located a 16-year-old boy with a non-life-threatening stab wound to his arm. An investigation found that the boy’s mother, 36-year-old Ashley Young, stabbed him during a dispute, police said. Young was arrested on suspicion of assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
