Mays Landing Man Fatally Shot In Hamilton ID'ed: Atlantic County Prosecutor A 28-year-old Mays Landing man was fatally shot in Hamilton Township on Saturday, March 2, authorities said. At 7:21 a.m., police responded to the Hamilton Green Apartments and found Kevin Schmalz dead from an apparent gunshot wound, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. A homicide investigation is ongoing, but there is no threat to the public. authorities said.
