Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

54-Year-Old Struck, Killed By SUV In Brentwood Police are investigating a fatal overnight crash on a Long Island roadway. It happened around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, in Brentwood. A 54-year-old man was crossing 5th Avenue at Kirk Road when he was struck by a northbound 1998 Nissan Pathfinder, according to Suffolk County Police. Fatal Crash: 35-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Hampton Bays A 35-year-old has been identified as the victim of a fatal single-vehicle Long Island crash. It happened just before 6 p.m.  Tuesday, July 16, in Hampton Bays on North Road. The victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was operating a motorcycle and has been identified as Darwin E. Apparent Drowning Victim Pulled From Great South Bay In Shirley A man pulled from the water on Long Island died from an apparent drowning.
