Macy's To Close 100 Stores Department store giant Macy's announced it will close approximately 100 of its locations by early 2017, according to a statement released by the company. Workers Needed In West Milford Medicinal Garden WEST MILFORD, N.J. -- The Douglass Memorial Garden in West Milford needs volunteers to help with medicinal plant gardening starting on Sunday, Aug. 14. August is the month when some of the most endangered ephemeral plants blossom, such as bloodroot and hepatica. Volunteers will spend time in the garden learning about the plants while they work in the soil. Volunteers can come and work for one hour or stay for all four.
