Workers Needed In West Milford Medicinal Garden WEST MILFORD, N.J. -- The Douglass Memorial Garden in West Milford needs volunteers to help with medicinal plant gardening starting on Sunday, Aug. 14.  August is the month when some of the most endangered ephemeral plants blossom, such as bloodroot and hepatica. Volunteers will spend time in the garden learning about the plants while they work in the soil.
