Ridgefield Police Chase Shoeless Suspect On Foot RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A "barefoot" chase took place through the center of Ridgefield Friday afternoon, according to WLAD-AM.  Ridgefield police pursued a shoeless man in connection with an alleged attempted fraud with a counterfeit $20 bill at the Prospector Theater shortly after 2 p.m. Friday afternoon, WLAD-AM said.  One officer sustained abrasions during the chase, reported WLAD-AM.
