North Castle Library Stages 'The White Oak Of Johnson'
ARMONK, N.Y. -- North Castle Public Library's Whippoorwill Hall will host "The White Oak of Johnston" during the last two weekends of July. "The White Oak of Johnston" is Thomas J. Morrissey's play about someone who wants to bury his dog under the big white oak on the family farm he hasn't visited in 19 years. Performances will take place July 21-23 and 27, 29 and 30 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person or $40 for a seat in the first seven rows. MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- The Mount Kisco Lions Club's fifth annual Charity Motorcycle Ride to benefit Guiding Eyes for the Blind takes place on Sunday, July 24. Connecticut Changes Rules On Paying For Rabies Tests Involving Pets
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The Department of Public Health's State Laboratory will no longer provide state-funded testing for rabies in wild animals, unless humans were exposed. Sherman Man Sentenced For Attempting To Bribe Judge Released
SHERMAN, Conn. -- A Sherman man convicted of attempting to bribe a judge has left prison for a halfway house in Waterbury, according to The News-Times. Dominic Badaracco was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2013 for calling a judge and offering to buy help while he was being investigated for his ex-wife's death, The News-Times reported. Vulnerable Yonkers Man Goes Missing Again
YONKERS, N.Y. -- A missing, vulnerable adult from Yonkers was located on Friday, but has gone missing again. Joseph Sutera, 62, has schizophrenia and could be a danger to himself or others. The 6-foot, 175-pound white male with black hair and brown eyes was last seen in Brooklyn wearing blue jeans and a blue sweatshirt. He may be in need of medical attention.
