MAHWAH, N.J. – Susan M. Markowitz, a resident of Mahwah, died Sunday, June 19. She was 74.
She was born Sept.6,1941, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24, 11:30 a.m. at the Sanctuary of Abraham & Sarah, 735 Forest Ave., Paramus. Entombment will follow at the family crypt.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State St., Spring Valley, N.Y.
John P. Keene, 56, Of Midland Park
MIDLAND PARK, N.J. – John P. Keene, a resident of Midland Park, died Sunday, June 19. He was 56.
Born in Paterson, he lived in Lakeville, Pa., before moving to Midland Park 20 years ago. He worked for the Franklin Lakes Department of Public Works for 25 years. He was an avid Mets fan and fisherman. He followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the Franklin Lakes Fire Department in March 1978.

HYDE PARK, N.Y. – Angelina Marie Coluccio, a resident of Hyde Park and Barefoot Bay, Fla., died Saturday, June 4. She was 91.
Born Nov.13, 1924, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Michael Uva and Theresa DelSanto Uva.
She grew up in the Italian section of Poughkeepsie on Mill Street. On Jan. 20, 1946, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie, she married Anthony D. Coluccio. They recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Antonio Orlando, a resident of White Plains, died Tuesday, June 7. He was 92.
Born Oct.8, 1923, in Tindari, Italy, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Anna (Casamento) Orlando.
He worked for 30 years at Kensico Cemetery, where he became the section supervisor. After his retirement, he was the caretaker for 25 years at Mount Carmel Church until the age of 90.

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Dominick Assumma, a resident of Yorktown Heights, died Friday, June 3. He was 86.
A resident of Eastchester for many years, he had resided in Yorktown Heights for the past six years. He spent his working years as a gardener with his brother Peter. He enjoyed square dancing, dancing for many years with many different clubs.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Michael) Marra; four grandchildren Michael, Joseph, Nicholas, and Christina; and his sisters Mary, Josephine and Pauline.

She was the daughter of Nellie and Roderick Tourville. She was retired from Lighting Services in Stony Point, N.Y. after many years as a Purchasing Agent.
