Thomas Attles, 84, Of Teaneck
TEANECK, N.J. -- Thomas Attles, a resident of Teaneck, died Tuesday, Feb.23. He was 84.Attles served in the U.S. National Guard. He was an electrical engineer and worked many years for AT&T. He was an elder at the Covenant Life Ministries Church in Teaneck.
He is survived by his children, Michelle, Keith and his wife Kimberly and Lisa; his grandchildren, Aaron, Daniel and Alisa; and his brother, the Rev. Dr. Leroy Attles.

GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Valentino Vella, a resident of Glen Rock, died Tuesday, Feb.23. He was 79. He earned a master’s degree in applied math from New York University.
He attended the Community Church of Glen Rock and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church in Ridgewood. Prior to retiring in 2006, he was a software engineer with Telcordia Technologies (Bellcore) in Piscataway and ATT Bell Laboratories in Whippany for many years. Among his many accomplishments, he worked on the lunar module for Grumman Aircraft.
