'Cash Mob' Jump-Starts Holiday Season At Ridgewood Shops RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- The Ridgewood Guild scored with its first "Cash Mobs!" Five retail stores were "mobbed" by happy shoppers who supported the Ridgewood Guild businesses by spending over $1,000. Participating shops were, The Green Olive Branch, Mango Jam, Pink Bungalow, Town and Country Apothecary, Backyard Living. Cash mobbers met on Saturday, Nov. 12 for free breakfast at Mango Jam to learn what stores they would mob. The participating stores were kept secret until the day of the event. Happy Birthday To Cliffside Park's Oksana Baiul-Farina CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Happy birthday to Oksana Baiul, formerly of Cliffside Park.The Olympic Gold medalist was born Nov. 16, 1977 and turns 39 on Wednesday. Born in the Ukraine Soviet Union, the champion ice skater moved to Cliffside Park's The Carlyle building in 1998. She had previously lived in Connecticut. Pawling Concert Series Celebrates 43 Years PAWLING, N.Y. -- The public is invited to connect through music at the Pawling Concert Series. The program is entering its 43rd season at Trinity Pawling School and is offering four more concerts through April 21 in a variety of genres. Have You Seen This Missing Connecticut Man? The Connecticut State Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a man reported missing Nov. 14 out of Mansfield. Jared Governale, 32, is a white male, with brown hair and eyes, who is 5-foot 9-inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. State troopers learned his ATM credit card was used Tuesday at approximately 5 a.m. at a Pennsylvania gas station on Route 80. Pennsylvania State Police have been notified. Potential Credit Card Breach Reported At Annie Sez In Danbury DANBURY, Conn. -- Customers of Annie Sez in Danbury who used credit or debit cards at the store between Oct. 15, 2015 and Aug. 23, 2016, may have had their data stolen. A & M LLC announced that a recent data security incident may have compromised payment information of some customers. The Mandee location in Bergenfield, N.J. was also affected by the security breach, as well various locations of Afaze, Sirens and Urban Planet locations. U.S. Attorney Reaches Agreement With City Of Yonkers To Enhance Police YONKERS, N.Y. -- The U.S. Department of Justice and Yonkers have reached an agreement officials hope will curb incidents of excessive force by the city's police department. Somers Boys Soccer Team Wins First State Championship SOMERS, N.Y. -- The Somers High School boys soccer team captured its first state championship in the history of its program Sunday. The Tuskers (20-2-2) won 2-1 in double overtime over Grand Island in the state final held at Middletown High School. Monroe Fire Department Extinguishes Brush Fire MONROE, N.Y. -- Firefighters in Monroe knocked out a small brush fire on Sunday morning. The Monroe Volunteer Fire Department No. 1 Inc. responded to Flint Ridge Road and quickly extinguished the small blaze. The all-volunteer department is headquartered at 18 Shelton Road and comprised of approximately 20 firefighters.

North Salem Boys Soccer Team Wins State Title In Double OT Thriller NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The boys soccer team at North Salem High School became state champions on Sunday, marking the Tigers' first state title since 1993. The North Salem Tigers (16-5) beat the World of Inquiry Griffins (20-1-1) in overtime 2-1 at Sunday's state championships held at Middletown High School.
